One of the most popular Tenerife island excursions is the Loro Parque in Puerto de La Cruz in the north of Tenerife.
At Loro Parque you will find the world's largest private collection of parrots, which are displayed in well defined pens that give plenty of information about the breed and natural habitat of the species.
There is a huge penguin world with an ice and snow machine, lions, tigers, gorillas, shark tunnel, koi carp lake plus dolphin, sea lion and orca whale displays.

MEDIEVAL CASTLE

For good family evening entertainment, the Medieval Night at Aldea Blanca Castle should not be missed.
Here you will be entertained by knights of old, who do battle in the purpose built arena for a fair maidens hand, while you enjoy a traditional meal washed down with lashing of wine and soft drinks.
After the jousting is ended, you retire to the theatre where there is dancing and a show.
 

LAS AGUILAS JUNGLE PARK.

You want animals ? Wild ones ? And lots of them ? Head to the hills above Los Cristianos to the Fabulous Aguilas Jungle Park where over 600 animals are waiting to amaze and entertain you. A free shuttle bus whisks you to the Jungle from various points in Las Americas and Los Cristianos .

Tip : Make sure you don't miss the thrice daily birds of prey show.

 

AIRAM -  CARMEN MOTA DANCERS

Take a healthy measure of Flamenco , inspired choreography , costumes with a story in each swish , passionate music and song , more than a soupspoon of humour and a dedicated and extremely talented troupe of dancers. Airam , currently running at the Piramide de Arona , is the diminutive choreographer's ninth show in Tenerife and while maintaining some excellent standards of past creations , also brings its own set of novelties to the stage This show is based on the Broadway Musical  Victor / Victoria by Blake Edwards. A love story where MARIA / AIRAM wants to make her dreams come true.Certainly an show NOT TO BE MISSED.
